CM Vasundhara Raje on Gaurav Yatra while farmers are dying: PCC chief Sachin Pilot

PCC chief Sachin Pilot on Tuesday lashed out at  BJP-led government in state and at Centre for misleading people with ‘Jumlanomics (fake promises). The PCC chief slammed chief minister Vasundhara Raje by saying that farmers in the state are dying and committing suicide, but the chief minister is taking out Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra.

Addressing a public meeting held on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at Maharao Bhim Singh stadium in Sangod, Pilot said, “Her highness (Maharani Sahiba) has got no time to look into the hut of the poor.” Pilot said that Raje lost a golden opportunity to bring progress and development in the state as she had all the powers and authority with BJP in power both in state and at centre but she failed to do so. Now, the public that gave her 165 seats in the state in last election is ready to teach her a lesson for her ill deeds and would root out her government in the upcoming election.

Pilot slammed Raje for not fulfilling the promise of giving employment to 15 lakh youths and the Modi government for not bringing back the black money and depositing Rs 15 lakh into accounts of public.  The mong daal is being sold for Rs 1.25 per kilogram, the prices of diesel and petrol are sky rocketing and the farmers are not able to sell their crop at government support price, he said.

Pilot came down heavily on Raje for calling him novice. He recalled that Raje said that he (Sachin Pilot) had to learn a lot. Referring to Congress victory in Ajmer byelections, Pilot said he certainly had to learn a lot but she will not forget this defeat for a long time. Sachin asked the public to question CM personally if she could sleep soundly at night in last four and a half year since the time Sachin Pilot became the state chief of Congress party.

“We have at several occasions in the last four and a half years forced the BJP’s state and central governments to bow to the pressure by Congress in the interest of the public, the PCC chief Pilot said.
